Award for life-saving fire crew

Six firefighters who saved a teenager's life after he cut his wrists falling through plate glass, are to be honoured on Monday.

The team of five and their station manager rushed to Malmesbury's youth club in June last year to help Adam Wickson.

They are due to be presented with a Royal Humane Society Award.

Chief Fire Officer Andy Goves said the quick-thinking group probably saved the boy's life.
