Six metre climbing wall to open

A new six-metre-high climbing wall built at Calne Leisure Centre is due to open on Monday.

The wall has been built on an old squash court.

The £35,000 cost of building and installing the wall has been met using a grant by North Wiltshire District Council.

Leisure Centre Manager Anita Hodgeson said the challenging climbing wall "was something that is not available anywhere else locally".
