Store robber makes off with cash

A man escaped with cash after a robbery at a store in Melksham on Friday, police in Wiltshire have said.

The man threatened staff with a large knife at the Co-op store in Pembroke Road, before demanding money.

He then ran out of the store in the direction of Queensway Chapel, a Wiltshire Police spokesman said.

The 5ft 10ins man was wearing a grey hooded top with Georgetown written across the front. He had dark tracksuit bottoms with vertical white stripes.
