Teenagers arrested over car crime

Two teenagers have been arrested following an investigation into a spate of car crime in Chippenham.

The youths, aged 16 and 17, were charged with theft from a vehicle. The 16-year-old had eight other charges to be taken into consideration.

Both were released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The arrests followed a three-month-long investigation by Wiltshire Police after a series of thefts from and damage to vehicles in February and March.
