A man has been charged in connection with a serious sex attack on a teenage girl in woods in Wiltshire.
The schoolgirl was assaulted as she walked home through Hardenhuish Copse, off Hardenhuish Lane, Chippenham, on Tuesday 21 March.
She told police she heard "raised voices" in the undergrowth, and was attacked when she went to investigate.
The 40-year-old man has been remanded on police bail and will appear before magistrates in the town on Friday.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the investigation was ongoing, and urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
