Elderly woman dies after attack

An 86-year-old woman has died in hospital nearly a week after being attacked in her home in Keighley.

Minnie Keat was injured during an assault at an address on Central Avenue on 6 July.

She was taken to Airedale General Hospital where she died on Sunday night, police said.

Her 58-year-old son Barry Keat has been charged with wounding and is due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday.
