Vehicle search nets cannabis haul

Police officers found drugs worth about £200,000 in a vehicle they stopped on the M1 motorway in West Yorkshire.

Officers who stopped the vehicle near Wakefield on Wednesday carried out a search and found what is thought to be a haul of cannabis.

Two men, aged 22 and 21, from the Leeds area have been arrested in connection with the find.

West Yorkshire Police said teams of officers were continuing inquires in the Wakefield area.
