Four men armed with metal bars raided a fashion shop in the Clarence Dock area of Leeds city centre and escaped with a quantity of clothing.
West Yorkshire Police said the men had covered their faces with hooded tops and scarves before going into the shop.
The gang threatened staff before fleeing in a silver-coloured Subaru Impreza with a large amount of clothes.
Officers were called to the shop on Chadwick Street shortly before 1900 GMT on Monday.
