Arrest over body found in house

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found at a house in West Yorkshire.

Detectives discovered the body of a man at the property on Lidgett Lane, Skelmanthorpe, near Huddersfield, at 0520 BST on Sunday.

West Yorkshire Police said the man arrested was being questioned by officers and inquiries were ongoing.

It is not yet clear how the victim died, but a post-mortem-examination was being carried out later.
