Man killed in town road accident

A man died when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle in Huddersfield.

Police were called to the junction of Wakefield Road and Denby Grange Lane where a Subaru Impreza collided with a Honda CRV.

The driver of the Subaru, a 33-year-old man from the Wakefield area, was identified as the dead man.

West Yorkshire Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash on Sunday morning to come forward.
