Boy stripped and robbed by gang

Three boys have been arrested after a teenager was robbed, beaten and stripped of his clothes in Leeds.

Police said the 15-year-old was walking on Middleton Road in Middleton, Leeds, when he was approached by a group of youths on Sunday night.

A spokesman said the boy was assaulted and had his mobile phone stolen. The group also took the boy's clothes and set them alight.

Three boys aged 11, 13 and 14 have been held over the incident and bailed.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

The victim was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries, but has since been discharged.
