Woman arrested over city stabbing

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing outside a West Yorkshire social club.

A 27-year-old man was believed to have been stabbed with a large kitchen knife outside Holmewood Social Club, Broadstone Way, Holmewood, on Friday.

The 23-year-old woman was arrested on Monday and is in custody.

Police said the victim, who has not been named, remains in a stable condition in hospital.
