Park searched in sex attack claim

An area of woodland in West Yorkshire has been sealed off after reports that a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the 28-year-old reported she had suffered the attack in the park in the Otley Chevin area of Leeds.

The incident is alleged to have happened on Sunday evening.

The spokesman added officers were carrying out a forensic search of the area and inquiries were ongoing.
