Inquiry over attempted abduction

A teenage girl was approached by a man who grabbed her and tried to force her into his car in West Yorkshire.

Police said the attempted abduction of the youngster took place on Highgate in the Heaton area of Keighley on the afternoon of 1 July.

The man was disturbed by a member of the public and drove off.

He is described as Asian, in his 40s with a bald head. West Yorkshire Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
