Heroin import raids net arrests

Fourteen people have been arrested in Bradford during raids targeting the importation of heroin into the UK.

Police raided addresses including two at the Yorkshire College site and at money service businesses in the city.

Four men and a woman have been charged with importing Class A drugs. A man, 38, has been charged with a proceeds of crime offence.

Six people are being held over immigration offences. Two other people have been released on bail.
