Eleven arrests over club shooting

Eleven people have been arrested by police investigating the shooting of a man outside a nightclub in West Yorkshire at the weekend.

The 30-year-old victim remains in hospital after he was shot in the leg outside a club on Beast Market in Huddersfield early on Saturday.

Ten men and a woman, aged between 18 and 29, have been arrested and released on bail, police said.

Eight of the men are from Sheffield and the three others are from Huddersfield.

The victim's injuries are not thought to be serious.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened shortly after 0330 BST, to contact them.
