Man hurt in police pursuit crash

A man was injured when the car he was travelling in crashed during a police pursuit in Leeds.

Officers were following a Vauxhall Corsa when the driver failed to stop on Whitehall Road on Wednesday.

The car overturned on Gildersome roundabout on the A650. A man was taken to hospital with injuries, police said.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle. West Yorkshire Police's professional standards department is investigating.
