Dog handlers quell 'disturbance'

Police face a crowd in Leeds Police dog handlers were called out to help officers quell a disturbance in the Hyde Park area of Leeds in the early hours of Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police said they were alerted to a problem on Hessle Terrace shortly before 0200 BST.

Three people were arrested at the scene for public order offences after it is thought a party got out of hand.

A spokeswoman said there had been no property damaged in the area, but a patrol car was damaged.
