Hunt for sword-wielding robbers

CCTV footage of the robbery A masked gang armed with swords robbed a bingo hall in front of 300 players in Leeds.

Three men threatened staff at Mecca Bingo in Balm Road, Hunslet, on Sunday night before taking an unknown amount of cash.

No one was injured in the raid. Police said the men drove off in a dark-coloured hatchback vehicle.

They are appealing for anyone with information about the robbery to come forward.

The first robber was described as stocky, wearing a dark blue jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.

The second was slim, wearing a navy tracksuit with three white stripes on the shoulders and down each arm.

The third man was described as taller than the other two, slim, wearing a dark-coloured top with a light-coloured hooded top underneath, blue jeans and light-coloured trainers.
