Missing hospital patient is found

Julie Smith A woman who went missing from Leeds General Infirmary on Friday, sparking a police appeal, has been found safe and well in Wakefield.

Julie Smith, 41, from East Ardsley, was last seen when she left her hospital ward following treatment.

On Sunday police said they were growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and appealed for help to find her.

West Yorkshire Police said Ms Smith was found safe and well in Wakefield on Monday morning.
