A 24-year-old pedestrian and two men in a car have been seriously injured in a crash in Wolverhampton.
The pedestrian was hit by a VW Polo seconds after it was in a collision with a truck near the Shell service station in Tettenhall Road.
He suffered serious head injuries in the crash at about 1730 GMT on Sunday and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, police said.
The two men in the car suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
They also remain in a stable condition in hospital.
West Midlands Police have appealed for any motorists at the garage at the time of the crash to come forward.
Officers believe a man driving a white Ford transit van may have seen the accident unfold, a police spokeswoman said.
