Further arrest over man's death

Detectives investigating the death of a man in Birmingham have made a further arrest.

Shankar Mukherji, 54, died in hospital in August, the day after police were called to an address Thornhill Road, Handsworth.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of murder and is being questioned.

Two men, aged 32 and 50, and from Hockley and Handsworth, have already been charged with murder.

They are awaiting trial.
