Motorcycle crash victim is named

A motorcyclist who died in a collision with a car in Birmingham has been named by police.

Leam Thompson, 27, from Sheldon, Birmingham, was riding his motorbike when the crash happened on Wednesday just before 1225 BST in Digbeth.

West Midlands Police believe there were two buses in the area when the incident happened at the junction of Digbeth High Street and Milk Street.

Bus passengers and any other witnesses have been asked to come forward.
