Man dies of multiple stab wounds

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man died from multiple stab wounds in Birmingham.

Police were called to a house in Riddfield Road, Bromford, shortly after 2100 BST on Thursday.

They said the 40-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to hospital but later died.

Officers said they were keen to trace three men seen nearby shortly before the attack. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out later.
