Two hurt as pursued car overturns

Two men were hurt when their car overturned as it was being followed by police in the West Midlands.

The car was being driven along Barrows Lane, Sheldon, Birmingham, when the accident happened.

A 19-year-old was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be critical. A 17-year-old is described as being in a stable condition.

West Midlands Police confirmed officers followed the vehicle "for a short time" and said it was investigating.
