Men jailed over student's death

Two men have been jailed after a 21-year-old student was stabbed to death in the West Midlands.

Errol Price, 25, of All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, was jailed for murdering Uriel Johnson in Bilston in July 2007.

He must spend 15 years in prison before being considered for release, the judge at Wolverhampton Crown Court told him.

Price's cousin, Ashley James, 23, of Hales Park Close, Wolverhampton, was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for 10 years.

Uriel Johnson, who was due to start a college construction course, was found injured in Wellington Road in Bilston on 3 July last year.

He died later in hospital.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Johnson died from a single stab wound to the chest.
