Three people, including a 16-year-old girl, have been remanded in custody after a police officer was hit by a van in the West Midlands.
Pc Robin Haddock, 49, of Sutton Coldfield, was hurt in the incident in Sneyd Lane, Bloxwich, on 18 March.
Richard Fisher, 26, of Whistance Court, Sandwell Street, Walsall, Paul Sheldon, 25, of no fixed address, and the girl appeared before Walsall magistrates.
They were charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
Life-saving surgery
Mr Fisher and Mr Sheldon were remanded into custody by magistrates.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was remanded into the care of the local council.
All three will appear again at Walsall Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Father-of-four Pc Haddock suffered skull fractures, bleeding from his brain and had to be given life-saving surgery following the incident.
He is still recovering in hospital.
A police colleague who was with him at the time was not hurt.
