Vehicles sought in murder probe

Police investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Birmingham are trying to trace the drivers of two vehicles.

A blue van and a small grey hatchback car were seen in the Newtown area of Birmingham on the evening of 16 March when Nehemiah Bryce, 27, was murdered.

Detectives believe the occupants of the vehicles could have seen crucial events in the lead up to Mr Bryce's death.

He had been involved in a car chase before being pursued on foot and shot in Rodway Close, Newtown.

Police said the large blue van was filmed by CCTV cameras turning from Rodway Close onto Birchfield Road.

At the Birchfield Road/Lozells Road island, the vehicle then turned to travel into the city on Birchfield Road.

The small grey car was parked on a driveway in Rodway Close and left the area shortly after the sound of gunfire, police said.
