Man held after teenager stabbed

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed in the leg.

The boy was stabbed at an address in Tern Grove, Hawkesley, Birmingham, on Thursday afternoon.

He was taken to hospital where he died later that evening, West Midlands Police said.

The 29-year-old man who was arrested remains in custody. Police are appealing for witnesses and information over the incident.
