Two men killed as car hits tree

Two men were killed when the car they were travelling in mounted a kerb and crashed into a tree.

The men, aged 19 and 21, died after becoming trapped in the wreckage of the Ford Escort estate in Solihull, West Midlands.

Two other men in the car, aged 19 and 20, were injured in the crash, one seriously.

Witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 0530 BST in Blossomfield Road, are urged to contact police.
