New mini-rail car for branch line

The mini-train car Passengers travelling on one of the country's shortest branch lines could soon be finishing their journey in a new mini-rail car.

Currently, anyone wanting to get to Stourbridge Town has to get off the their train at Stourbridge Junction and then get another train.

After a trial Sunday service, it has been decided the mini-rail car will do the eight-minute journey all week long.

The mini-rail car is expected to begin a week-long service next year.
