Drink-drive probe as man killed

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a pedestrian was knocked down and killed.

The man was run over on Sunday evening in Causeway Green Road, Oldbury in the West Midlands.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and died at Sandwell Hospital on Thursday.

The 23-year-old driver of a red Rover 418 involved in the collision was treated for minor injuries. The arrested man has been bailed by police.
