New plan for golf course revealed

A second planning application to build on land used by the Mount Oswald Golf Course in Durham City has been revealed by developers.

Banks Developments said the revised plans for the £75m Durham Park project would create 1,000 jobs.

The company's first proposal for a large business park was turned down by council planners earlier this year.

The new development will include commercial offices, student accommodation and eco-friendly housing.
