Detectives probe triple stabbing

Three men suffered stab wounds in a disturbance on Tyneside.

Police were called to Cameronian Square in Gateshead on Sunday where they found the injured men.

All were taken to hospital. Two of them, aged 23 and 21, were later released after treatment, but another 21-year-old was due to undergo surgery.

Three men were later arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and aggravated burglary. Police remained at the scene to reassure the public.
