Last phase of £5m hostel finished

The final phase of a £5m project to rebuild a hostel facility for vulnerable people in East Sussex has been completed.

George Williams House in Portslade is a large facility providing flats and a life skills centre.

The project that began in 2004, wanted individuals to take ownership of their own space and feel independent rather than part of an institution.

The project was designed by architect Matthew Richardson.
