A special constable resigned after it was discovered he posted racist comments and threats on the internet, police in Sussex have said.
Rob Johnston, 22, a trainee special constable from Brighton, made the remarks on his online blog.
He listed Muslims, Americans, taxi drivers and chavs as the people that annoyed him the most.
A chief inspector with Sussex Police described it as "disappointing" and "wholly inappropriate".
'Undermines' work
Mr Johnston also threatened an individual, saying: "I am going to be watching you. Every move, every word, every look and every thought" and advised them to "keep out of my way".
His blog has since been removed from the internet.
Ch Insp Laurence Taylor said: "Sussex Police can confirm that a trainee special constable resigned on Monday 5 January.
"This is a disappointing incident. Behaviour such as this from one individual undermines all the hard work that goes into building strong links with our communities.
"Sussex Police find the comments on the website wholly inappropriate and recognise that they do not reflect the views of other hard working special constables, police officers and police staff that are employed by the force."
