Two robbers steal cash from store

Robbers stole cash after forcing their way into a convenience store in West Sussex, according to police.

Officers said two men confronted a member of staff at the back of the shop in Gossops Green Parade, Crawley, at about 0530 GMT on Monday.

After they got inside the store they made verbal threats before stealing an undisclosed quantity of cash.

The member of staff was not hurt during the incident. Sussex Police have appealed for information.

The first suspect is described as white, of medium build, about 5ft 6in tall and wearing a balaclava and dark clothing. He was said to have an Irish accent.

The second man was said to be of medium build, about 5ft 10in tall, and also wearing a balaclava and dark clothing.
