Man sought in severed ear inquiry

Police have released details of a man they want to speak to over an attack in which a man's ear was severed.

A 21-year-old man was injured in Vancouver Road, in the Durrington area of Worthing, on 5 August.

Sussex Police want to speak to 31-year-old Anthony Connolly from Liverpool. He is also known to have links to Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Mr Connolly is white, 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and receding dark brown straight hair.

Andrew Laws, of Mendip Crescent, Worthing, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm in August and is due to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on 4 December.
