Lawyers walk for legal charities

Lawyers and the Lord Chief Justice have taken to the streets of a Brighton to raise funds for legal advice charities.

The sponsored 10km (6.2 mile) walk was one of five being held on Thursday in five different cities.

Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers and teams from local chambers, solicitor's practices, the courts and tribunal services took part.

Julian Hunt, of the Sussex Law Society, said recent changes meant legal advice charities needed more funds than ever.
