M20 reopens after bridge incident

Police have reopened the M20 in Kent after a six-hour closure while they talked down a man on a bridge.

The incident was at junction 1 at Swanley, which is the M25/A20 interchange.

Both carriageways of the road were closed and drivers were warned to avoid the area.

Police said a man in his 20s had been arrested for a number of offences, including causing a public nuisance, and was being held in custody.
