Driver killed on A27 identified

A driver who was killed when his BMW car veered off the A27 in East Sussex has been named by police.

James Trott, 21, of Applesham Avenue, in Hove, died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on Monday after his car crashed on Sunday evening.

A passenger in the car sustained minor injuries and was also treated at Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Police have asked for anyone who saw the purple BMW 316 on the A27 on Sunday evening to contact them.
