Man cautioned over web boy fight

Fight footage

A 21-year-old man has been cautioned by police after footage was posted on the internet showing two young boys being forced to fight each other.

The man, who has not been named, was cautioned in Crawley, West Sussex, for aiding and abetting common assault.

The films showed children, aged between 10 and 12, punching, kicking and headbutting one another, while a man goaded them to become more violent.

Sussex Police said the boys had been identified and were safe and well.

'Fully co-operate'

In the videos, which were posted on the YouTube website in March, a man said to the children: "You're fighting like girls. Fight properly."

One of the boys shouts: "He's crying", after punching the second child in the face.

The films were believed to have been shot in a bedroom in Crawley.

YouTube removed the videos and said they would fully co-operate with any police inquiry after the matter was brought to their attention in March.

Sussex Police said the man was cautioned after they took advice from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
