Stolen pick-up used in four raids

A pick-up truck stolen in East Sussex is believed to have been used in four burglaries and attempted burglaries in the early hours of Sunday.

The Subaru was taken from Kingston, near Lewes and used in a robbery at Barcombe Post Office, where cigarettes and tobacco were stolen.

About half an hour later the truck, registration L930 TWV, was seen at a robbery attempt at Hartfield Spar shop.

Sussex Police said it was also spotted at two further attempts in Kent.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information about any of the offences to come forward.
