Motorcyclist dies in road crash

A motorcyclist has died in a crash between his motorbike and a car on the A264 in East Sussex.

Police said the collision happened at Blackham, near Longfield farm, on Wednesday afternoon.

The motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries, a spokesman for Sussex Police said.

Appealing for witnesses, officers asked anyone who saw what happened to contact the road policing unit at Polegate. The accident happened at about 1220 BST.
