Council urges compost bin buy

Residents in Surrey are being urged to take advantage of a special offer to buy cut-price compost bins.

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council wants to encourage residents to compost during the summer.

The scheme, which runs until the end of September, is part of a joint venture between the council and the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP).

WRAP is a major UK programme established to promote resource efficiency.
