Man assaulted and struck by car

A man has been treated for facial injuries following a fight in Surrey in which he was also struck by a car.

Police were called to London Road, in Camberley, early on Thursday to reports that up to 30 men were involved in a fight outside the RSVP nightclub.

The victim, in his 30s, suffered a suspected broken nose and was hit by a car that mounted a pavement before he was further assaulted, officers said.

Any witnesses to the incident, at about 0230 BST, are asked to contact police.

Det Sgt Franca Gasparini said they particularly wanted to speak to the driver of a silver people carrier taxi who may have seen the man being struck by the vehicle.
