Police arrest 13 in drugs raids

Thirteen people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply Class A drugs after police raids in the Woking area.

Thursday's raids followed 10 weeks of surveillance of people suspected of supplying and selling illegal drugs including crack cocaine and heroin.

Det Insp John Cable said the operation was the first of its kind to target a large number of Class A drug suppliers.

He said officers seized drugs as well as weapons and stolen property.
