Post boxes blown up by fireworks

Mail was damaged when two post boxes in Surrey were blown up using fireworks.

Police and Royal Mail are trying to identify the owners of mail in the post boxes in Ricketts Hill Road, Tatsfield and Warwick Wold Road, Bletchingley.

Officers believe the two incidents, which happened on Saturday and Sunday nights, are linked.

The doors of the two post boxes were blown off in the blasts. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
