Man quizzed over 'suspect items'

A 55-year-old man arrested by police for fraudulent use of a tax disc has had a number of other items seized.

Surrey Police said officers found a gas canister, women's underwear and a wig during their search of a Vauxhall Tiga in Hampton Close, Knaphill on Thursday.

Following a search of the man's home a replica hand gun, two mini motos, a scooter, 10 tax discs and two chainsaws were taken for investigation.

The man, who was also held over the canister, was bailed until 30 December.
