Boy bailed after man is wounded

A 15-year-old boy has been released on bail after being questioned over an incident which left a man injured.

Suffolk Police were called to Beech Rise, Bury St Edmunds, on Wednesday following reports a man had suffered a serious wound to his chest.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He was later released on bail and will return to Bury St Edmunds police station in December. A knife was recovered, police said.

An area of Beech Rise was cordoned off while police investigated the incident.
